The manager was not even aware of the situation until after we sent the desserts back. But more importantly if you offer a gluten free menu you need to be able to execute it. To offer a kid an unsafe dessert to make up for the unsafe meal is frankly just a little bit mean. When we looked more closely at my daughter's dessert we realized that there was cookie crumble under the gelato. When the desserts arrived the waiter returned a couple minutes later to tell us that my dessert actually did have gluten (thankfully no one else had eaten any) so we asked him to take it away. Based on his advice we ordered gelato for my daughter and a banana split for me. We accepted the gesture and asked which deserts were gluten free. At the end of the meal we asked for the bill, but the waiter offered us a free dessert. We then spent ten minutes convincing my daughter that it was safe for her to eat here. When the first dish arrived with pasta mixed into the corn we notified the waiter of the mistake and he apologized and said he would take extra care with the rest of the meal. They have a gluten free menu so we expected that they could provide a gluten free dinner. We informed the waiter of the allergy, and said the whole table would be gluten free. My wife and daughter have celiac disease, so cannot have gluten. With that many people and just about as many dishes, this should be a standard first-order that should be easily placed.NOT REALLY GLUTEN FREE!!!!!!A total failure on many levels. Only weird thing was that, even though we had 12 people and the menu boasts “unlimited” food, the waitstaff wasn't pleased when we got there and asked for one of every plate to start off. The bloody mary was also nice and spicy, but not overpowering. Almost everything I ate was delicious, especially the Cuban sandwich, duck hash, and fried chicken tacos. Plates are more like tapas, with just 3-4 servings per plate, but you can continu e to order to your heart's desire. My group & I came here for Sunday brunch, a $29 fixed price brunch bu ffet with a set menu. Additionally, there were several leaks in the ceiling & water was dripping around the restaurant. The server & staff was generally quite friendly & accommodating but my party & I had to continuously ask for the same things over & over (we asked 3 different staff for serving spoons given it's tapas style and only the 4th person we asked made it happen). Exceptionally mediocre restaurant & most of the food was an embarrassment.
